About the Old Cash Store
The Old Cash Store is a family run Port Elizabeth functions venue and accommodation establishment, in a wonderful country setting in the heart of the Sardinia Bay nature conservancy, on the east coast of South Africa, 8km from Walmer CBD. The Old Cash Store offers luxury accommodation, a great country pub, a restaurant that serves "home cooked food", and a unique versatile wedding and function venue.
The business is owned and managed by Mandy and Mark Wattam. For the restaurant Mandy has instituted a "home cooked style" to the sumptuous buffet fare on offer for functions or Sunday lunches and many of the vegetables served are home grown. There is also an a la carte menu.
The beautiful garden of indigenous trees and shrubs, and horses in paddocks, create an atmosphere of outdoor living and fine country views, ideal for weddings, functions, corporate away days, fine meals, Sunday Buffet lunches, live gigs and much more.
The accommodation comprises of two luxury self catering cottages, sleeping 4 & 6 people respectively, and is ideal for family holidays.
